The Band Toto Asia
Toto was expanding its production facilities in the overseas market and doing business in France, Germany, Indonesia, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and the People's Republic of China. The company saw North America as a growth market for Washlet bidets and toilets, in contrast to its “base” markets of Japan and China.

Origins
Incorporated in 1917, Toto's early years were a mirror of Japan's economic growth. In the early years of its existence, the company produced goods to meet demand for modern and contemporary urban housing. It used the first tunnel kilns in the country to produce ceramics continuously. It also pioneered the use of automation to control production, allowing for more efficiency and consistency.
The company began expanding overseas in the late 1980s to benefit from new markets and sales opportunities. It established the Cera Trading Company, importing and selling other products of manufacturers to complement its own lines of plumbing fittings and sanitary earthenware. This strategy increased sales and increased the company's global market share.
In the late 1990s, Toto had shifted its focus to research and 토토사이트 추천 순위 - research by the staff of maps.google.com.br, development of household appliances that are water-related. It also improved its distribution system to better meet the needs of customers and increase profits. The company embraced a just-in time approach to supply chain management and used the same methodology in its sales program. This resulted in a greater level of customer satisfaction.
Toto continued to develop toilet technology. Its latest toilet has an environmentally friendly, powerful tornado flush. Toto uses recycled water in its manufacturing process, and has a green buying policy. In addition to toilets Toto manufactures faucets and bathtubs, as well as hand dryers that are more efficient in energy use than conventional models.
The first Toto museum opened in the year 2015. It has exhibitions on Toto's most famous products as well as their evolution, group companies (all of which are made of ceramics) as well as the history of plumbing, and other products like bath units. In a separate gallery you will find Toto products sold all over. The museum even has a bathroom that features the WASHLET toilet, as well as other toilet-related innovations.
Before the formation of Toto, members of the group performed sessions for various musicians. Boz Scaggs album Silk Degrees featured keyboardist David Paich as well as guitarists Mike Porcaro & Steve Lukather, drummer Jeff Porcaro & Steve Lukather. They also played on records by Steely Dan, Seals and Crofts, and Sonny and Cher.
Discography

Their sonic signature has become the norm for pop music from the 1980s, and has influenced many contemporary artists.
The album opens with a strong and pounding sound, with songs such as Running Out of Time and Unknown Soldier showcasing the bands ability to write amazing AOR songs that slowly get their hooks into your mind. The album also includes some more jazzy, slower tracks such as The Little Things and Chinatown. The album concludes with Great Expectations, a song that mixes folk with distortion AOR and sounds completely wrong, but actually is incredibly effective.
After Toto IV The band's fortunes took a turn for the worse. David Hungate left to concentrate on his solo career, and the band went through various drummers. In 1984, Bobby Kimball left the group due to drug charges. The band remained with Michael Porcaro, Steve Lukather and Michael Porcaro.
Toto released Isolation despite the turmoil. It was not as popular as IV. The band was able to release an album that topped the charts, Kingdom of Desire, in 1992. The album was the last of Toto's lineup and the debut of Simon Phillips, a new singer.

Its more punk-rock sound was a reflection of the maturation of the group and featured drummer Bobby Kimball's greater proficiency on the drums, as well as a more confident, mature vocal delivery from singer Joseph Williams. David Paich's keyboard skills were also more sophisticated, sharper, and less derivative on earlier efforts.
After touring to promote their album, the group recorded their Amsterdam live performance that was released on Eagle Records as a 2-CD set entitled Falling In Between. The studio album came out just a few months later and the group embarked on an extensive world tour in support of the album. In this time keyboardist Greg Phillinganes replaced Paich and bassist David Hungate quit the group to spend time with his family.
In 1998, Paich & Lukather began searching through old tapes & demos to discover songs that hadn't been recorded before. It was completed as a double-album titled Then and Now in 2001. It was the first album by the band without the single track “A”. The album also contained an previously unreleased track “Kari-Anne”.
By 2003, Toto had begun to decline in popularity. The group's fourth album, Old Is New, was a commercial failure, and vocalist Williams was suffering from a severe laryngitis condition that limited his singing abilities. Hungate also returned to Nashville and Leland Sklar's drumming duties were replaced by Shem Von Schroeck.
Downes, Wetton Palmer and Howe, the original members of Asia, met in England early in 2006 to discuss the possibility that the band could be revived. This lineup, minus Howe who was occupied with Yes during that time, was renamed Toto XIV. They toured extensively.
In 2010, the band reunited for another reunion tour with a slightly different line-up, including guitarists Mike Porcaro and Steve Lukather, drummer John Pierce, bassist Shannon Forrest, and multi-instrumentalists Warren Ham and Dominique Taplin.
