Hades 2 - Sign Up For a Playtest

Developer Supergiant Games' 2020 roguelike Hades will be getting a sequel. It's a bold move that raises the stakes and provides a deeper look at familial politics.

Melinoe is back in a quest to kill Chronos the titan of time. She'll encounter new gods and specters, such as the personification of the light Apollo and the goddess of witchcraft Hecate and the god of revenge Nemesis.

1. Hades 2 Technical Test

It's worth signing up for an in-depth test if you are an avid player of Supergiant and their roguelike 2020 Hades. The studio claims that its Early Access launch is on the horizon, and a playtest will help them to iron out any bugs in a smaller player base than the full 1.0 release.

Another positive change is the addition of more open regions, that offer different routes through each area and an ever-changing setting to explore. Each region provides a distinct perspective on the Underworld. Some are more accessible than others, but all provide unique challenges that distinguish them from other Roguelites.

Supergiant has also redesigned the gameplay in the early access build. This has reduced some of the effort required to achieve certain upgrades and makes it easier to move between different areas. Hades 2 is still far from being finished However, Supergiant has announced that it will continue to refine the game to make it more perfect.

Supergiant has a reputation for listening to its fans and responding to any issues that pop up, which is evident in the way they've handled the early access release of Hades 2. It could be some time before the final version launches, but it already feels worthy of a place on your gaming shelves alongside its predecessor.

3. Hades 2 Beta

In addition to these reintroduced features, the test adds some new ones too. For example, the ability to unlock new permanent upgrades for Melinoe and a new weapon, and a variety of other options to help you fight the hordes of the Underworld. You'll also be able to tame witchy familiars, reveal mysteries at the Arcana Altar, and gather ingredients that will enhance your abilities.

The most striking new feature to the game is Omega attacks. These are new ways to increase the power of your weaponry and spells. These attacks will increase the power of your magick meter, allowing you to unleash devastating attacks with an extensive area of effect. This is a new method to add an additional dimension to the battle of combat.

4. Hades 2 Release Date
