Dhaniram Toto was documenting Toto words to ensure the next generation would be able to read them. However, many words were being replaced with foreign ones, such as dui, which is Bengali for verandah.

Origins

The company was founded in 1917 and its beginnings mirrored Japan's development. In the early years of its existence, the company made products to meet the demands of new, modern urban housing. It had the first tunnel kiln in the nation to produce ceramics continuously. It also pioneered the use automation to control production, which allows for greater efficiency and consistency.

In the late 1980s the company began to expand outwards to take advantage of sales and new markets. It established the Cera Trading Company, importing and distributing other products from other manufacturers to complement its own lines of sanitary earthenware and plumbing fittings. This strategy helped to increase sales and expand the firm’s global market share.

In the late 1990s, Toto had shifted its emphasis on research and development of household appliances that use water. It also upgraded its distribution system to better meet the needs of its customers and increase profits. The company adopted a just-in-time approach to supply chain management, and 먹튀검증 it used the same methodology for its sales process. This led to a higher level customer satisfaction.

Toto continued to innovate toilet technology. The latest toilet, for instance, has a powerful tornado flush that is more ecologically green than traditional toilets. The company also makes use of recycled water in its production process and has a green purchasing policy. Apart from toilets, Toto manufactures bathtubs and faucets and hand dryers that are more energy efficient than typical models.

The first Toto museum opened in 2015. It has exhibitions on the most iconic products of Toto as well as their evolution, group companies (all of which are made of ceramics) and the history of plumbing and even bath units. In an additional gallery, you will find Toto products sold all over. The museum houses bathrooms with a washbasin and other toilet innovations.

Before forming Toto the members of the group did session work for a variety of musicians. Keyboardist David Paich, drummer Jeff Porcaro, and guitarists Mike Porcaro and Steve Lukather all performed on the album Silk Degrees by Boz Scaggs. They also played on records by Steely Dan, Seals and Crofts, and Sonny and Cher.

Discography

With a name as evocative as Asia one would expect the group to be prog queens and kings - but it's actually a pretty straight forward rock group. The band was initially a four-piece and released two albums: 1979's self-titled debut and 1980's Armed to the Teeth. The group has a diverse musical background, but their biggest success was in 1982 with Toto IV.

The album was a massive blockbuster but not without its problems. The record companies placed the band under pressure to deliver the top single or they would rescind the album. Toto was able to achieve this through the aid of the hit song “Africa.”

Toto's musical mastery owes a lot to their previous experience in the music industry, as the band members were session musicians for artists like Boz Scaggs, Steely Dan, and Seals and Crofts prior the group. Their distinctive sound has since become the standard for '80s pop, influencing many contemporary artists.

The album begins hard with songs such as Running Out of Time or Unknown Soldier that show the band's ability to write great AOR tunes that slowly creep into your head. The album also has some more mellow, jazzy tracks like The Little Things and Chinatown. And the album ends with Great Expectations, a song that mixes folk with distortion AOR and sounds totally wrong, but is incredibly effective.

After Toto IV the band's fortunes began to wane. David Hungate left the band to pursue a solo career. The band had several drummers. In 1984, Bobby Kimball was fired from the band in wake of drug charges and the group continued to perform as a trio, which included Michael Porcaro and Steve Lukather.

Toto released Isolation despite the turbulence. It wasn't as popular as IV. However, the band had a successful chart-topping album in 1992, Kingdom of Desire. This album marked the end of Toto's lineup and the debut of Simon Phillips, a new singer.

The edgier sound of Turn Back reflected the maturation in the group. Drummer Bobby Kimball's increased proficiency was evident in the vocal delivery of Joseph Williams, who had become more confident and mature. David Paich's keyboard playing was as well more refined, more precise and 첫가입 꽁머니 less akin to previous efforts.

After touring to promote the album, the band recorded a live performance in Amsterdam that was released as a set of two CDs called Falling In Between Live on Eagle Records. The group released their new studio album just a few months after, and went on a tour around the world to help promote it. During this period, keyboardist Greg Phillinganes replaced Paich and bassist David Hungate quit the group to spend time with his family.

In 1998, Paich & Lukather began looking through old tapes and demos to find songs that had never been recorded prior to. It was released as a double-album titled Then And Now in 2001. It was the first album in the band's history not to feature a single song with the word “A” in its title and it included one previously not released track, “Kari-Anne”.

The group's fourth album, Old Is New, was a commercial failure, and vocalist Williams was suffering from a serious laryngitis infection which hampered his singing. Hungate also returned to Nashville and Leland Sklar's drumming was replaced by Shem Von Schroeck.

Downes, Wetton Palmer and Howe, the founding members of Asia The original Asia members met in England early in 2006 to discuss the possibility that the band could be revived. This lineup, minus Howe who was busy with Yes during that period, was later renamed Toto XIV. They toured extensively.

In 2010, the band reunited for another reunion tour with a slightly different line-up, including guitarists Mike Porcaro and Steve Lukather, drummer John Pierce, bassist Shannon Forrest, and multi-instrumentalists Warren Ham and Dominique Taplin.
